With these two in goal, it always felt like the Maple Leafs were in complete control. They were fun to watch, and this season, they will get to run it back.

Stolarz and Woll have been ranked as the third-best goalie tandem in the National Hockey League. Only the Dallas Stars and Winnipeg Jets are above them.
Bleacher Report Hockey recently ranked all 32 NHL goalie tandems. They placed Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll of the Maple Leafs as the 3rd-best tandem in the NHL, only behind the Dallas Stars and Winnipeg Jets.
Given just how good the Stars and Jets are, it is reasonable that they would be ranked ahead of the Leafs, especially when you look at consistency.
Regardless, Woll and Stolarz have an opportunity to outperform their ranking, even if they already find themselves in that Top Three.
Ultimately, the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to be strong in net this season, and that is going to help with any deficiencies on offense.
