Craig Berube's Latest Comments About the Referees Are Probably Going to Get Him Fined
Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube is someone who says exactly what is on his mind and that was especially true after a loss against the Dallas Stars.
The Maple Leafs lost 4-1 against the Stars on Tuesday night making it three losses in a row for the team.
Despite a horrendous performance on both sides of the puck, the loss can be boiled down to the game-winning goal, which came on the power play.
In fact, the Stars' power play came after a questionable penalty on John Tavares, who was called for one of the weakest slashes you will ever see.

After the game, Berube let his thoughts on the call be known and as you will read, the head coach is definitely jonesing for a fine.
The NHL is very sensitive whenever it comes to comments about the referees and that is exactly why some believe Craig Berube is going to be hit with some kind of financial penalty.
Meanwhile, John Tavares was also unimpressed with the call, although he recognizes that the team lost because of a myriad of factors that go beyond just the officiating.
Ultimately, the Maple Leafs have not been good over the course of the past few games.
Their energy has been depleted and they aren't getting the goaltending they need to stay atop the Atlantic Division.
At this point, one has to wonder if this is going to continue or if the Leafs can snap out of it against the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night.
