Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube will have lots of big decisions to make throughout the season, and one of them involves forward Nick Robertson.
Nick Robertson had 15 goals last season, and for the most part, he was an inconsistent bottom-sixer who struggled to crack the lineup during critical moments in the season.
Toronto Maple Leafs fans were frustrated with Robertson at times, and now that he has a new contract and a pay raise, the expectations have been elevated.
Unfortunately for Robertson, the Leafs have an abundance of players going into training camp, and this will make it tough for him to crack the lineup.
Craig Berube was honest when asked about Nick Robertson
Yesterday, Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube was able to speak to the media, and it was here that he was asked about Robertson's role going forward.
Berube made sure to compliment Robertson for his effort and his drive, although he was also very honest about the fact that training camp will be filled with competition.

For Robertson, this is not going to be an easy season, and one has to wonder whether or not the Maple Leafs will try to trade him.
The trade rumors have been exceptionally loud as of late, so it would not be surprising for the team to swing in that direction.
Having said that, other teams need to make proper assessments of their rosters first, and that is exactly what training camp is for.
Either way, this week is going to be fascinating as the Toronto Maple Leafs look to make some huge moves that could decide the team's fate for this season.
