Toronto Maple Leafs head coach spoke to the media after tonight's game against the Philadelphia Flyers, where he offered an update on Chris Tanev.

Earlier tonight, Chris Tanev was taken off the ice on a stretcher following an elbow to the head from Philadelphia Flyers forward Matvei Michkov.
Overall, it was a very scary sight as Tanev was barely moving on the ice. He had just come back from a concussion, which made the scene that much scarier.
Following the game, fans have been praying for Tanev, and they have also been hoping for the absolute best.

Head coach Craig Berube spoke to the media, where he noted that Tanev is currently in a hospital in Philadelphia, receiving tests.
However, there is some good news here, as the defenseman is reportedly walking around and is responsive.
In fact, there is even a chance that Tanev flies back with the team. That would be a major development and some good news.
Despite all of this, tonight was a good one for the Maple Leafs as they defeated the Flyers by a score of 5-2.
They got a goal from Auston Matthews, and Easton Cowan was even able to score the first goal of his career, which was pretty cool to see.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs can keep this momentum going on Monday when they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins.
With this win, the team improves to 6-5-1 on the season. They need to keep winning to secure some much-needed momentum.
