Former Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Jay Rosehill is always honest about how he feels and that was especially true while discussing struggling forward Pontus Holmberg.

If you have been following along this season, Pontus Holmberg has been awful this season with just two goals and eight points.
He has played 42 games this season and regardless of where Craig Berube has placed him in the lineup, he has continued to struggle.

Now, Jay Rosehill is speaking out on Leafs Morning Take, where he absolutely lambasted Holmberg and the Maple Leafs organization.
In his mind, the team needs to take action and trade the young forward immediately as he is overstaying his welcome.
"Everytime the puck touched his stick, it blew up and he panicked and just whacked it to nowhere. If he even corralled it... i mean in [the NHL], you can just whip cross-ice, tumbling, dead ducks to a guy that bounce right before the guys' blades and these guys pick up those passes.

It's like, you can't give a good player a bad pass in that league, and he couldn't even pick up passes.

The puck was bouncing everywhere, he was throwing it into traffic, he was spinning... he was absolutely lost, and I'm thinking there, man, there's a roster spot -- and I'm talking about if we go deep here, trying to make a run, looking at a championship-worthy team -- you can't have guys like that."
This is a very harsh assessment but when you consider how the trade deadline is on the horizon, there is no doubt that a move might be a good idea.
The Maple Leafs are a bout to enter the playoffs, and they can't have dead weight bringing them down.
Throughout the season, the biggest issue has been the team's bottom six which has been less than productive so far this season.
Despite these performances, the Maple Leafs are currently battling for first in the Atlantic Division.
