Adam Mair is a former draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs who has fallen on hard times, as he was recently arrested for some pretty disturbing reasons.

Buffalo Sabres director of player development, Adam Mair, is in big trouble right now, as he was recently arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
According to reports, the former NHLer rear-ended another car, with three children in his back seat. He was then given a field sobriety test, which he allegedly failed.
As a result of this arrest, the Buffalo Sabres have subsequently put their former player on leave of absence.
According to another report from CBC, Mair was his with three misdemeanour charges that can have serious consequences.
For instance, he got charged with "aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle and endangering the welfare of a child."
Overall, this is an incredibly unfortunate incident, and you cannot help but hope that Mair is able to get the help he needs during this time.

Adam Mair's history with the Toronto Maple Leafs

In 1997, Adam Mair was a draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He went 84th overall in the fourth round and only stuck around for a few seasons.
Eventually, he went to the Los Angeles Kings, before going to the Buffalo Sabres, where he spent the majority of his career.
In retirement, Mair has been a development coach for the Sabres, although now, his job is most certainly in jeopardy.
Only time will tell whether or not the Sabres will welcome him back, or if the consequences will be permanent.
