Ex-Toronto Maple Leafs Star Delivers Blasphemous Suggestion to Craig Berube Before the Playoffs

Former Toronto Maple Leafs player Jeff O'Neill recently had a suggestion for Craig Berube that directly involves goalies like Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz.
If you have been watching the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, you already know that the team has not yet determined who the starting goalie will be for the playoffs.
Instead, Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll have split the action and Berube is showing no signs of changing up that strategy, anytime soon.
There are a lot of fans out there who would like to see a decision get made soon, especially when you consider how there are 12 games left in the season.
Jeff O'Neill has a suggestion for Craig Berube
However, ex-Maple Leafs star and current TSN Overdrive analyst Jeff O'Neill believes the Leafs should just try something unorthodox.
Although he doesn't necessarily agree with this line of thinking, he is encouraging Craig Berube to go with two goalies in the playoffs and just see what happens.
"I've gotta say one thing; I thought it was insane to even think about a two-goalie kind of rotation in the playoffs, but if that's what these guys want, man, go for it. Go nuts. Have at it. If that's what they want to do and they play better with [a rotation] -- I've always said, if you've got two guys, you don't have one, I hate it, I think it's stupid -- but I'm almost on board with it if that's what they need."
Whether or not Woll and Stolarz would like this remains to be seen. While they have been a great tandem all season long, you would think one guy would love to be the man in the playoffs.
Teams don't win Stanley Cups by alternating their netminders and we doubt the Leafs will be the first team to crack that code.
However, you have to appreciate O'Neill for making the suggestion even though he could have easily been made fun of for it.
Hopefully, one of these tendies comes through and sets themself apart before the first round of the postseason.
