Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll has a history with injuries so whenever he takes a bad shot, there is a lingering fear that the worst is going to happen.
Joseph Woll has been the starter for the Toronto Maple Leafs ever since
Anthony Stolarz went down with an injury, and the team cannot afford to lose him.

However, at practice today, the goaltender gave his Maple Leafs teammates quite the scare.
According to David Alter of The Hockey News, Woll took a puck to the goalie mask and was shaken up a bit.
You never want to see a goalie take a puck to the face, even if they have a mask on. Those masks do a good job of dissipating the impact, but they aren't fool proof.
As for Woll's stats this season, he has a goals-against average of 2.58 and a save percentage of .912.
Overall, these are the kinds of numbers that will definitely win you games in today's NHL, but the Leafs have certainly seen better from Stolarz this season.
Whatever the case may be, it is good to see Woll staying healthy, especially given his history.
Hopefully, he can play lights out tomorrow night and break the Leafs out of their current two-game losing skid.
