Stolarz didn't really seem to care about any of this as he continued to play well and secure his team a victory in the first round.
In fact, after the series, the goaltender shook hands with Nick Cousins and even exchanged words with his former teammate. Everything seemed good between the two.
During the Senators' end of season media briefing, Cousins was asked about what Stolarz must have said to him during the handshake line.
As it turns out, the goaltender didn't have much to say, although he did want Cousins to know that it wasn't him who ratted the forward out to the league.
«He told me that he didn't tell on me»
Moving forward, Anthony Stolarz is focusing on the Leafs' upcoming series against the Florida Panthers, which begins on Monday night.
This should be an interesting series with the Leafs coming in as underdogs. Only time will tell whether or not they can prove the haters wrong and bring home a win.
