Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson had been great with the team this season and he knows how to handle Ridly Greig of the Ottawa Senators.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson was one of the defensemen that the Maple Leafs brought in during the offseason as a way to bolster the blue line.
Chris Tanev was also one of those d-men and so far, they have been the perfect guys to add to this team as they play with grit and a whole lot of experience.
OEL has specifically been a great player in the postseason for the Maple Leafs because he has won a championship with the Florida Panthers.
He knows what kind of grit it takes to go all of the way, and recently, he spoke about a situation that is unique to this playoff series against the Senators.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson stands up for Anthony Stolarz

If you have been paying attention, then you know that Ridly Greig and Anthony Stolarz have been going at it. Greig struck first in Game 1 and Stolarz struck next in Game 2.
With this situation ongoing, Ekman-Larsson was asked to comment and it led to a very good answer that just goes to show the mentality of his netminder right about now.
As you will read below, OEL is urging Ridly Greig to tread lightly with Stolarz moving forward. The goaltender likes to get physical and that won't change anytime soon.
"I wouldn't go after Stollie if I was him."

Tonight is Game 3 and things should definitely get incredibly interesting between these two teams. Only time will tell if the Leafs can overcome being the away team.
As for the Senators, they have a lot of ground to catch up on and it certainly is not going to be easy for them to do. The Leafs are in control and they will want to keep it that way.
