Overall, Stolarz has had the better stats, although there is no doubt that Woll has been able to hold things down as well.
Who is in goal for the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Las Vegas Golden Kngihts?
On Wednesday night, the Leafs are in Las Vegas to take on the Golden Knights where they will look to bounce back following an unexpected loss to the San Jose Sharks on Monday.
Tonight,
Joseph Woll is getting the start, which should come as no surprise given the fact that we are only two days removed from Stolarz's last start.
The goaltender has a goals-against average of 2.70 and a save percentage of .907. Moreover, he has 21 wins to his name and a shutout to boot.
Overall, Woll has more playoff experience than Stolarz, but that does not mean much in the grand scheme of things. Once the postseason comes around, Craig Berube is likely to go with whoever's hot.
Either way, tonight is a big game, as fans want to see the Leafs go toe-to-toe and compete with a potential Stanley Cup contender.
