William Nylander Just Hit the Biggest Milestone of his Career

William Nylander is a superstar on the Toronto Maple Leafs and he is having one of the best seasons of his career as he has 38 goals and 71 points in 68 games.

Overall, there isn't a single Leaf with more goals than Nylander this season and with the playoffs approaching, fans are expecting him to elevate his game.

Tonight, the Swedish forward is in action against the New York Rangers where he is looking to help out his team win its third game in a row following an emotional victory against Colorado.

It is a game that is going well so far as the Leafs are winning by a score of 2-1 after the first period. The first goal was scored by John Tavares, and it was assisted by Jake McCabe, as well as William Nylander.

It was a nice goal and the type of tally that gives a team some confidence as the period goes on. Bobby McMann scored the second of the game.

As it turns out, the secondary assist from William Nylander was a big one as it had a huge impact on his career point totals.

Coming into this game, the forward had 599 points. Of course, that assist made it 600 for Nylander, which now puts him in a very cool spot.

Hitting these kinds of milestones is always a huge achievement and we're sure Leafs Nation is very proud of William Nylander right now.
