Anthony Stolarz Reveals Surprising Truth About His Viral Altercation with Ridly Greig

Anthony Stolarz had himself another great game on Tuesday night as he helped the Leafs get a 2-0 series lead on the Ottawa Senators.

It was a spectacular showing from the netminder and it seems clear why he is the starter right now. Quite frankly, he deserves most of the credit for the team's success right now.

Having said that, on Tuesday, Stolarz found himself in a heated battle with none other than Ridly Greig, who is known for being a pest.

After being run into on Sunday, Stolarz was not having any of it and decided to make sure Greig learned his lesson.

This included some heavy shots in front of the net and he even knocked the forward down at one point. It was cool to see and the fans loved it.

However, after the game, Stolarz made some very interesting comments about what went down. Essentially, he claims that he didn't even know it was Greig he was battling with.

Whether or not he is telling the truth here does not matter one bit. What does matter, however, is just good the Toronto Maple Leafs have been in this run.

The team has been putting up some incredible performances every single game and this dates back to the regular season as they continue to win.

Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs can finish off this series once and for all and show that they are no longer playoff chokers.
