Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has chosen his starting goalie for tonight and as you are going to read, this might prove to be a huge mistake.
Joseph Woll or Dennis Hildeby against the Tampa Bay Lightning?
Tonight, the Leafs are taking on the Tampa Bay Lightning and Berube has been forced into making an extremely tough choice.
After all, the Lightning are a division rival and they demand a solid performance from your goaltenders.
With Hildeby showing some shaky moments this season, Berube has decided to go with
Joseph Woll for tonight's game.
The Maple Leafs take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday and since they are a much weaker team, Hildeby is expected to get the start.
Having said all of that, the decision to start Woll for the fourth game in a row is one that could prove costly.
The goaltender has a history with injuries and very seldom does he ever play four games in seven nights.
Typically, goaltenders in today's day and age don't play this much. However, with the Leafs losing trust in Dennis Hildeby, it is easy to see why Woll would get the start against a superior team.
The Leafs are going to have to hope that their netminder isn't still feeling the affects of that game.
