Toronto Maple Leafs Reporter Delivers Concerning Update on Joseph Woll

Joseph Woll is currently on a leave of absence from the Toronto Maple Leafs, and it has led to a ton of questions about what is next for the goaltender.

He has shown no signs of coming back, and it has forced the Maple Leafs to make some big decisions about their roster.

For instance, on Monday, the Leafs claimed Cayden Primeau off waivers. He is now the backup for Anthony Stolarz, and no one knows how many games he will have to play.

With that in mind, fans want to see Woll back on the ice. Of course, the fans want him to get better, but at the same time, the concern is still there.

Recently, Leafs reporter Luke Fox was on 'Leafs Morning Take,' where he was asked about the Woll situation.

As you will see below, things are getting a bit concerning. The Leafs have not offered an update on the goalie and are suppressing information. Of course, Woll is dealing with a personal matter, but the lack of answers is creating more questions.

Fox noted that Woll's equipment is still in the locker room, but at this moment, he isn't skating, which creates an issue.

He never got to skate during training camp, and at this point, he will have to spend weeks getting in shape once he does return.

All we can do at this point is wish Woll well. We can't imagine what he must be going through, and as a fan base, Leafs fans should try to lift him up.

When he does come back, it will be a triumphant moment, and we hope he is able to have a long and prosperous career with the franchise.
