Toronto Maple Leafs Officially Put a Timeline on Cayden Primeau's Debut with the Team

Cayden Primeau was picked up on waivers earlier this week, and now, the Toronto Maple Leafs are figuring out the best time to bring their new goalie into the fold.
Instead, the Leafs wanted someone with a bit more NHL experience. Someone who fits that bill quite nicely is
Cayden Primeau, who was put on waivers by the Carolina Hurricanes.
Primeau has not yet played for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He wasn't able to get into a preseason game, although he was the Leafs' backup on Wednesday night against the Montreal Canadiens.
When does Cayden Primeau debut for the Toronto Maple Leafs?
Earlier today, at Toronto Maple Leafs practice, Primeau was on the ice, although it was projected that
Anthony Stolarz would be the starter on Saturday night against the Detroit Red Wings.
However, we seem to have an idea of when Primeau will make his debut. The Leafs play the Red Wings again on Monday. Then, on Tuesday, they play the Nashville Predators.
Simply put, the Leafs will have no choice but to play Primeau early next week, as they experience their first back-to-back of the season.

Primeau
Whether or not Primeau gets the Red Wings or the Predators remains to be seen. A lot of that hinges on how well Stolarz is able to play on Saturday.
Either way, fans should be excited about Primeau's debut. He is a solid goalie who has earned his spot on the team.
That said, we do hope to see
Joseph Woll back soon, as his absence has gone on for quite some time.
