Following a win against the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday, the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to show they are the best in the league against the Red Wings.
With just one game under their belts, the
Toronto Maple Leafs are trying to get themselves embedded in the NHL season.
Overall, the Maple Leafs have a good team, but if they can't get games in, then they are going to be colder compared to their competitors. Thankfully, their drought ends Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings.
Today, the Maple Leafs were back at practice, and Craig Berube was keeping the lines the same, which certainly turned some heads out there.
As for the starting goalie situation, the Leafs have some options, especially since the Leafs are back in action on Monday, against the Red Wings again.
This would be the first half of a back-to-back with the Nashville Predators. As for Saturday, once again, Berube is keeping things the same.
