The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired Scott Laughton in a trade just a couple of days ago and you can tell the forward absolutely loves his new team.
Scott Laughton was traded from the Philadelphia Flyers to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday in a trade deadline deal that sent Nikita Grebenkin and a first-round pick the other way.
Overall, it was a good move that helped the Leafs bolster themselves down the middle while also bringing in a hometown guy who as always wanted to play for the franchise.

Unfortunately, Laughton's Maple Leafs debut was against the Colorado Avalanche and it ended in a 7-4 loss that made it three in a row for the team.
The new third-line center had a -2 net rating and did not pick up a single point in the game, but he is still trying to settle into his new role alongside linemates Max Domi and Bobby McMann.
After the game, Laughton was incredibly hard on himself and how he played. However, he also did a segment for social media where he explained the best parts of being a Maple Leaf.

This is great news for Laughton and we cannot wait to see what he can do once he has settled into the lineup.
