Scouts Flock to the Toronto Maple Leafs Game and Hint at an Imminent Trade

Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving is looking to make some moves here in the next few days and there are plenty of teams to do business with.

Of course, with the trade deadline looming, numerous teams around the league are sending out scouts around the NHL to ensure that every single t is crossed and i is dotted.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are a team looking for a third-line center and they are also hoping to land themselves some depth on the blue line.

Some of the names that have been mentioned are Brayden Schenn, Brock Nelson, Yanni Gourde, Rasmus Andersson, and even Colton Parayko, among many more.

As it turns out, there were numerous scouts at the Maple Leafs game tonight, and many of them come from teams that the Leafs have supposedly been talking to. According to Terry Koshan, there was lots of representation.

The biggest team here is definitely the St. Louis Blues thanks to the connection with Brayden Schenn and Colton Parayko. Of course, it can also be argued that they were there for the San Jose Sharks, who are likely to be sellers.

Regardless, Maple Leafs fans should be anticipating a pretty interesting week ahead as the look to improve the team in time for a massive playoff run.

Over the last few years, they have struggled to make it out of the first round but this time, something feels a whole lot different about this team.

Either way, they need some extra firepower, something that is obvious after losing to the San Jose Sharks in a shootout.
