Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has officially made some major changes before Game 5 against the Florida Panthers at the Scotiabank Arena.
At morning skate this morning, the
Toronto Maple Leafs made it clear that changes were coming against the Florida Panthers tonight.
Nick Robertson got to play a couple of playoff games against the Ottawa Senators but was eventually taken out of the lineup for
Max Pacioretty.
Meanwhile, David Kampf has yet to make a single start in these playoffs. Needless to say, it was about time that he got into the lineup.
As for Calle Jarnkrok and Pontus Holmberg, they have been brutal, so it only makes sense that Craig Berube would want to make an official change.
Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Florida Panthers Game 5
Tonight is a huge one for the Toronto Maple Leafs as they are attempting to take a 3-2 lead in their series over the Florida Panthers.
Of course, a loss would mean that they go down by a game, which isn't exactly ideal by any stretch of the imagination.
Overall, this is the biggest game of the season for the team and the fans want to see a huge effort, especially from Robertson and Kampf.
In about three hours' time, we will know for sure whether or not the Leafs were up to the moment and if they can keep this season going.
