Anthony Stolarz is coming off a career year with the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he had a goals-against average of 2.14 and a save percentage of .926.
The goaltender is going into the final season of his two-year deal, which means the Leafs can officially sign the netminder to a contract extension.
According to reports, both sides have entered contract negotiations, although nothing has materialized. After all, there is no telling how he plays this season.

Ultimately, Mirtle says the Leafs should expect to spend a lot of money. After all, the goaltender is very good, and with the salary cap rising, he could demand significant term.
