Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Landon Sim has been spending time with the Toronto Marlies, although Saturday's game against the Belleville Senators was a scary one.

Landon Sim was a sixth-round pick of the St. Louis Blues in 2022, although now, he is a prospect for the Toronto Maple Leafs who has some potential.
The 21-year-old center is coming off two great seasons with the London Knights, and now, he is trying to work hard in the AHL so that he can get noticed by the Leafs' brass.
Unfortunately, Saturday's game against the Belleville Senators did not go so well for the young kid, as he was subjected to a pretty rough hit from Garrett Pilon that took him out of the game.

Landon Sim misses time with the Toronto Marlies

As you can see below, the forward was slid into, and he had his legs taken out from under him. He tried to get up, but the pain was too much.
It's hard to tell what the exact injury is, especially since he had to drag himself off the ice. He was unable to return to the game, which makes sense given the injury.
Meanwhile, Sim was not on the ice on Sunday as the Toronto Marlies took on the Belleville Senators in a rematch. Needless to say, he needed some time to heal.
It remains to be seen whether or not Sim is going to be back this week, or if this is something that is going to take a lot longer to heal.
Whatever the case may be, you never want to see a young player go down with an injury like this. It's just absolutely terrible to see that happen.
Sim is someone that Maple Leafs fans should get endeared with, as he could very well be on the team in a few years' time.
We are wishing the 21-year-old a speedy recovery.
