Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander and former Leaf Mitch Marner have received their rankings in NHL 26, and they are quite surprising.
William Nylander and Mitch Marner were the two best wingers on the
Toronto Maple Leafs last season, for two different reasons.
Mitch Marner had 102 points, including 75 assists. Meanwhile, Nylander had a career high in goals, with 45. Both were fantastic, but only one remains with the Leafs.
Marner is going to be playing for the Las Vegas Golden Knights this season, while Nylander gets to run it back with the Leafs.
What are William Nylander and Mitch Marner's ratings?
According to EA Sports, Nylander and Marner are rated Top 5 among right-wingers in NHL 26. Both of these players will have an overall of 92.
A 92 overall is exceptional. Quite frankly, anything above 90 should be heavily celebrated. Although with both players scoring the same rating, there is no denying that the comparisons will be getting out of hand this season.
If you were to ask Toronto Maple Leafs fans who's better, they would probably tell you William Nylander out of spite.
However, the truth of the matter is that both players are fairly even, and this season could very well be the deciding factor in who's better.
Ultimately, it boils down to what you value more. Do you prefer goals, or do you prefer a guy who gets you a ridiculous amount of assists?
