EA Sports Proves There is a Major Rivalry Brewing Between Anthony Stolarz & Joseph Woll

EA Sports NHL 26 is on the horizon, and over the past week, we have been subjected to the overall ratings for various players throughout the league.

The game started out by showcasing the ratings for the best players in the league. For instance, Auston Matthews was rated 94 overall,, while William Nylander and Mitch Marner got a 92.

Now, everyone's ratings are available online, and there has been a lot of fanfare about the individual players on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

This curiosity has extended towards the goaltenders. Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll were sensational last season, with numerous debates about who was better.

Unfortunately, EA Sports has not determined a victor in all of this. Instead, they have rated both goaltenders as an 85.

This has created a rivalry of sorts for NHL 26, as both goaltenders could find themselves vying to have the better overall rating.

It makes sense for both goalies to be ranked similarly, even if Stolarz did have the better statistics last season. At the end of the day, both still have a lot left to prove.

Moreover, EA Sports typically ranks goalies quite close to one another. In any given year, it is impossible to tell which goalies are actually going to go towards the top.

If you are a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, you probably won't be caring too much about these ratings throughout the season. Instead, you will be focused on which goalie is getting you wins.

Only time will tell whether or not it is Woll or Stolarz who establishes themself as the true starter of this team.
