Brady Tkachuk Sends Disrespectful Message to Toronto Maple Leafs Fans After Their Antics in Game 1

The Toronto Maple Leafs had themselves a phenomenal game on Sunday night as they defeated the Ottawa Senators by a score of 6-2 in what was a fantastic game.

Ottawa was taking a plethora of penalties and the Leafs were consistently able to capitalize on them with some huge power play goals. Ultimately, it was a bad showing for the Sens and some are worried that this could end in four games.

As for Brady Tkachuk, he struggled throughout the game and he wasn't able to keep his team's emotions in check, which led to a blowout loss.

During the game, it was clear that the Leafs fanbase was giving Tkachuk a hard time. The "Brady Sucks" chants were loud and frequent, with the Leafs feeding off of the energy.

After the game, the Senators captain was asked about the treatment from the crowd and it led to a very NSFW and dismissive answer.

Quite frankly, this is how Tkachuk should be feeling, all things considered. He played his first ever postseason game and laid an egg, meanwhile, his teammates did exactly the same, ensuring an embarrassing loss.

Now, the Leafs have to find a way to keep their momentum going and go into Ottawa with a 2-0 series lead. That would all but confirm that the Sens are not ready for playoff action.

Coming into the series, the Sens had destroyed the Leafs throughout the regular season and it left Sens fans with a false sense of superiority. Sunday put a stop to that.

Only time will tell whether or not the Maple Leafs can keep their good fortune going or if the Sens settle down and find a new level to their game.
