Toronto Maple Leafs forward Calle Jarnkrok has completely thrown off the team's trade plans thanks to a torrid start that has many analysts in stunned silence.

Calle Jarnkrok is a player who was being shopped around throughout the offseason. However, the Leafs never found a trade partner for the forward.
When the season began last week, there was no guarantee that the forward would have a place on the team. Regardless, he started off on the fourth line.
In the first game of the season, against the Montreal Canadiens, Jarnkrok scored a big goal that ended up helping the team win the game.
Subsequently, Jarnkrok scored again against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, although this time around, the Maple Leafs lost in rough fashion.
On Monday afternoon, Jarnkrok scored again, marking his third goal in as many games. Unfortunately, the Leafs lost, but the forward remains on a rampage.

This has all but confirmed his place in the lineup going forward, and it creates an interesting problem for Brad Treliving, who must abandon his trade plans.
Perhaps it is actually a good thing for the general manager, after all, the more good players you have on your team, the better.
One player who could be at risk now is Nick Robertson, who has not looked particularly strong throughout the first three games of the season.
The third line has been stagnant, and guys like Max Domi are also struggling at the center position. For now, the Leafs could use some big improvements.
Whether or not the Leafs hit the panic button will likely depend on how they do against the Nashville Predators tonight.
