Tonight, the Carolina Hurricanes and the Toronto Maple Leafs are playing each other in the first game back from the incredible 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.
Saturday and Sunday will be busy for the
Toronto Maple Leafs as they take on the Carolina Hurricanes and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Carolina Hurricanes stranded in Toronto
Unfortunately for the Hurricanes, they got caught in a huge traffic jam on their way to the arena, which is not an uncommon occurrence in Toronto.
Having said that, with the Hurricanes needing to get to the game, they decided to leave the team bus and walk to the arena on foot.
This made for some hilarious scenes on social media, although you cannot help but feel for the guys considering the weather right now.
It is very cold in Canada and you never want to have to deal with this kind of thing just hours before a game.
Having said that, this has happened before this season. The Utah Hockey Club walked to their game against the Leafs earlier in the season.
Toronto traffic will continue to be like this, so let it be a warning to teams throughout the rest of the NHL.
Hopefully, both teams are still able to put on a show tonight as the game is set to start in about an hour's time.
