Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube is preparing his team for the Florida Panthers and it is very clear that he isn't scared about his opponent, whatsoever.
Craig Berube has done a sensational job with the Toronto Maple Leafs and if you are a fan of the team, you cannot deny that one bit.
He has helped this team finally win an Atlantic Division title and he also helped them win a playoff series against the Ottawa Senators.
Now, the Leafs are set to take on the Florida Panthers in the second round of the NHL Playoffs, and he must get his team prepared for Paul Maurice and a very gritty group of players.

While speaking to the media, Berube was asked about how the Panthers play and the fact that this series could be very scrappy from the start.
However, the head coach does not seem scared at all. Instead, his recent comments suggest he is very much excited about this challenge.
I'm very comfortable. I don't feel worried about it at all. Our teams is they're ready for it. They understand it. That's playoffs. It's going to be hard and there's going to be hits, and you got to get up and play.

It is a clear acknowledgement of Paul Maurice and the way he coaches his team to play. Berube isn't scared and he wants his guys to be prepared.
Since coming to Toronto, Berube has certainly made the Maple Leafs a much grittier team to play against which has contributed to more success.
In this upcoming series, the Maple Leafs will have to deliver big hits and block a lot of shots in order to win. It won't be easy but it can be done.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs can get over the hump and find themselves in the Eastern Conference Finals.
