Ex-Maple Leafs enforcer Kelly Chase reveals devastating diagnosis

Unfortunately, Chase has had some health issues over the last few years.
On social media, Chase announced some sad news this past week. He has been re-diagnosed with Leukemia, and must fight the disease yet again.
Kelly Chase reveals he has Leukemia again
"I hesitated to say anything, but so many people are sending me notes so here goes . Yes I have a Round 2 with this punk called leukemia. With the support of these amazing Doctors @SitemanCenter and all my friends prayers and support, we are hoping for a similar outcome as Round 1. I am ready to fight again and have a brother with 100% bone marrow match. I truly am grateful for everyone reaching out. I got this."
After making the announcement, Chase was hit with support from the entire hockey world. Chase is a liked personality, and no one wants to see him have to endure all of this.
Cancer is truly awful and has claimed the lives of so many people. While medical advancements have improved the prognosis for many, it is still a difficult thing to go through.
This is absolutely awful news, and our heart goes out to Chase and his family during this difficult time.
It is always hard to see someone from the NHL fraternity go through this. On behalf of Leafs Nation, we hope Chase is able to beat this.
