Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Jake McCabe missed last game after being hit in the head by a puck, and fans expected him to be active against the Nashville Predators
Following the injury, head coach Craig Berube made it seem as though Jake McCabe was going to be just fine, and would not miss any time.
Tonight, the Maple Leafs take on the Nashville Predators, and it was expected that McCabe would return.
According to Luke Fox of Sportsnet, McCabe is going to be out of the Maple Leafs lineup, yet again.
As per comments made by head coach Craig Berube, McCabe isn't feeling so good. Although, Berube did note that McCabe wants to be back by the weekend.
"Just not feeling right. Not feeling good enough to play.... Hopefully he's feeling better and better every day, and we'll see. Like, this guy's a warrior. He'll play (this weekend), if he can."
Despite McCabe's absence last game, the Leafs were able to secure an easy win against the Chicago Blackhawks.
This Maple Leafs team is on a huge roll right now as they have won nine out of their last 11 games.
Overall, the team has a record of 15-7-2, and they continue to dominate games. Fans should be very happy about these performances.
