Leafs Coach Craig Berube Pours Cold Water on Anthony Stolarz's Comeback Hopes

Earlier today, we reported some good news coming out of Toronto Maple Leafs practice as Anthony Stolarz was on the ice.

However, it was later reported that the goaltender did not practice with the rest of his teammates. Instead, he was just getting some skating work in to ease himself back into playing.

Regardless, with Game 5 going down in Toronto on Wednesday, fans have been wondering if Stolarz might actually get some action.

While speaking to reporters after practice, head coach Craig Berube completely shut down that notion. In fact, he won't entertain it.

He did say the goalie is feeling a lot better these days, however, he made it clear that as it stands, there is no comeback timeline for Stollie.

Anthony Stolarz has been instrumental to the team's success this season and if he cannot come back to this series, then it will be difficult for the Maple Leafs to win.

However, Joseph Woll is easing into the series right now and if he plays like he did in Game 4, then the Leafs do have a chance.

The series is tied and with home ice, the Leafs do, indeed, have the upper hand. That said, they must give the fans something to cheer about.

With the East wide open, this is a great opportunity for the Leafs to win a Stanley Cup.
