Paul Bissonnette sure does love his Toronto Maple Leafs, and when Mitch Marner left for the Las Vegas Golden Knights, a huge hole was put in his heart.
If you watch the NHL on TNT, then you know that the broadcast has a bit of a
Toronto Maple Leafs bias thanks to Paul Bissonnette.
The former NHL enforcer has a newfound appreciation for the Leafs, and he is always doing his best to cheer them on, even if it is a bit cringy and overbearing at times.
As you can imagine, Bissonnette was absolutely crushed when Mitch Marner decided to leave the Toronto Maple Leafs for the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
With TNT covering the Golden Knights game last night, Bissonnette decided to go out and make a fool of himself on behalf of Leafs fans everywhere.
Paul Bissonnette serenades Mitch Marner
As you can see in the clip below, the analyst was given a Marner jersey, and it was incredibly difficult for him to look at it, let alone put it on.
In another segment, Bissonnette put on one of the worst performances we have seen in quite some time as he made his very own music video.
He remixed Player's "Baby Come Back" but changed up the lyrics a bit so that it was dedicated to Mitch Marner.
It was the kind of display that makes you roll your eyes but laugh at the same time. You have to appreciate the dedication that Bissonnette showed here.
Either way, the Maple Leafs won their first game of the season, and the Golden Knights lost their first game.
So at the end of the day, the net positive comes out on top for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
