Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving has made quite a few moves this offseason, although more recently, he has been taking things easy.
The Toronto Maple Leafs offseason has been an interesting one, to say the least. It all started with the team trading Mitch Marner for Nicolas Roy, in a sign-and-trade that some fans were surprised by.
Meanwhile, the Leafs also made trades for guys like Dakota Joshua and Matias Maccelli. The team is still in need of a top-six forward, but with the market looking thin, Brad Treliving has been unable to make a big swing.
Either way, the NHL season is set to begin in about six weeks from now, and there is a sense that some moves could be coming with training camp on the horizon.
At the very least, we could see the Leafs give out some PTOs like they did last season with eventual roster players like Max Pacioretty.
Brad Treliving takes in a Toronto Blue Jays game
Whatever the case may be, Leafs fans are desperate for Brad Treliving to do something, although his recent whereabouts suggest that the general manager is still in vacation mode.
Recently, Treliving went viral as he was spotted on television taking in a Toronto Blue Jays game. Makes sense considering how good the Jays are doing this season.
Treliving is not the only Leaf doing this. Refcently, Chris Tanev and his brother, Brandon, were both seen at a game together.
Overall, the Toronto sports landscape is looking pretty good, especially as the Blue Jays look like a potential World Series winner.
Meanwhile, the Leafs and the Toronto Raptors will be starting their season fairly soon, which means the city is in for a treat.
Hopefully, Treliving will set his focus back on the Leafs, who are in need of some extra moves going forward here.
