Brandon Tanev Lands in Toronto for a Special Opportunity

Chris Tanev was one of the best players on the Toronto Maple Leafs last season, and as a result, there were some demands that his brother, Brandon, come to the Maple Leafs.

He was a free agent this offseason, and it appeared as though the Maple Leafs were contenders to land the bottom-sixer. However, Brandon opted to sign with the Utah Mammoth.

The Maple Leafs are no longer in the market for a player like Brandon Tanev, but that did not stop him from coming to Toronto this past week for a nice reunion with his brother.

If you have been paying attention to the Toronto Blue Jays, then you know that the team is having a phenomenal season, and they are even favorites to win the World Series.

Some high-profile names have been attending the games as of late, including the Tanev brothers, who were at a game this past week.

In fact, the two got to meet Kevin Gausman, as you can see in the photo below. It was a cool moment, and both brothers seemed very happy.

With the Blue Jays going on a run, it is very cool to see players from other Toronto teams getting in on the fun.

If you are a Toronto sports fan, this is a great time to be in the city. By the time the playoffs roll around, the Maple Leafs will have just started their regular season.

Between the Leafs, Raptors, and Blue Jays, there will be a whole lot to cheer about, and we hope the fans understand the opportunity they have here.

Only time will tell whether or not the Blue Jays go all the way, and have the season fans have been waiting for since the early 90s.
