Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander got injured against the Buffalo Sabres, and Craig Berube's update did not inspire very much confidence.

Last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs lost their third game in a row, this time to the Buffalo Sabres, a team that they should be able to topple.
William Nylander had a goal in this match, but he also got an injury towards the end of the game, and it was pretty brutal to watch him struggle to skate.
Losing Willy is a worst-case scenario for this team, especially with the rematch against the Sabres officially going down tonight.

Craig Berube tells the truth about William Nylander

Below, you can see the injury. While it may not look like the worst ailment in the world, it was certainly enough to take the forward out of the game.
After the game, head coach Craig Berube was asked about the injury and whether or not Nylander is going to be able to play tonight.
This led to a very honest answer in which the head coach noted that he just doesn't know yet. Simply put, Nylander's status is not a given.
Maybe, yeah. We'll see. I gotta see tomorrow.
Ultimately, this is very bad news for the Maple Leafs, especially as Nylander was taking his place on the team's first line.
The Leafs have had all sorts of misfortune to start the season, and it does not feel like that misfortune will be changing anytime soon.
If you are a Maple Leafs fan, you cannot help but be incredibly frustrated right now, as this team continues to put in minuscule effort.
