Max Domi Pays Homage to Former Teammate Who Died at Just 31 Years Old

On Friday, we reported on the death of former London Knights goalie Jake Patterson, who just so happened to play with Toronto Maple Leafs star Max Domi.
The goaltender was just 31 years old and had a three-year-old child. At this time, there is no cause of death.
Overall, this news hit the hockey world extremely hard, especially when it comes to the former goalie's teammates.

Max Domi was one of the many men who got to play with Patterson on the Knights. While taking to his Instagram story, the forward paid homage to his friend.

The London Knights also put out a statement on Friday, showcasing their support to Patterson's family and friends during this difficult time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jake's family, friends, and loved ones
Patterson got to play a total of three seasons with the London Knights. During that time, he helped them win the OHL Championship. He had a winning record, and was someone that team could always depend on.
Our hearts go out to the Patterson family during this incredibly difficult time. We know just how much he was loved by those who knew him.
The outpouring of support from the hockey community has been good to see. After all, hockey is a fraternity, and the players always look out for one another.
