Mitch Marner Secures Superstar Linemate for the 4 Nations Face-Off

Mitch Marner has been having a career year with the Toronto Maple Leafs and now, he has been rewarded with a spot on Team Canada.

The 4 Nations Face-Off begins this week and Leafs fans are excited to see what the superstar forward can do with some Canadian All-Stars around him.

Today, Team Canada had its very first practice and it was here where the team was able to unveil its line combinations.

Sidney Crosby was placed with Nathan MacKinnon and Mark Stone, while Mitch Marner was placed next to Connor McDavid and Sam Reinhart.

Overall, this is an incredible line combination that is sure to produce a ton of offense, or at least that is what we assume will be the case.

Marner has 71 points in 54 games this season, while McDavid is having another season in which he will obliterate 100 points.

Typically, McDavid plays next to Leon Draisaitl which means Marner has some pretty big shoes to fill right about now.

Either way, this is going to be a dangerous line for Team Canada and we cannot wait to see what the Maple Leafs forward can do with the opportunity.

This 4 Nations Face-Off tournament is the first of its kind and it should give way to some fascinating storylines.

Only time will tell if the NHL has a hit on their hands with this one.
