Nazem Kadri exposes horrific details about Mike Babcock's Maple Leafs tenure

Nazem Kadri played on the Toronto Maple Leafs when Mike Babcock was the head coach and many players remember just how awful he was to certain guys.
In his new book Dreamer: My Life on the Edge,, Kadri has been detailing some stories from his time with the Maple Leafs. Of course, a lot of his stories have involved Mike Babcock. For instance, he detailed that horrible incident with Mitch Marner.
Now, Kadri is talking about another Babcock story that involved the team's trainers. According to Kadri, Babcock allegedly asked the training staff to rank players based on their gym routine. As you can imagine, this led to a whole lot of distrust.

"Still, it wasn't the last time Babcock would share information we considered private. Another incident that rubbed some of the guys the wrong way happened when Babcock called a meeting with the team and the entire training staff in the same room. He'd ask all the trainers to rank players on the level of effort they put into their gym routines.
There was an assumption that the information would be kept confidential, but Babcock brought up each assessment, one by one, in front of the entire team. The whole point was to embarrass guys, and it made for some awkward conversations between the players and the training staff. Once you break that trust it's hard to come back, so it was all a bit of a sh*tshow."

Needless to say, Babcock was not very kind to his players, and they were not very kind in return. There is a reason why Babcock is no longer a head coach at the NHL level. He probably never will be again.
