With the Toronto Maple Leafs looking to have a big season, 'Leafs Morning Take' recently spoke about players like Auston Matthews and Bobby McMann.
That said, Nick Alberga and Jay Rosehill of 'Leafs Morning Take' are actually a lot more positive than most within the media.

On their most recent show, they offered up three big hot takes for next season, and as you are going to read, these takes are all very striking.
Firstly, they believe Auston Matthews will have more points than Mitch Marner. They also believe Bobby McMann will have over 25 goals, while the team makes the Eastern Conference Finals.

McMann hits 25+ goals
Leafs make it to the Conference Final
All of these predictions feel like long shots. Marner is more of a point-getter than Matthews, while McMann is ripe for a regression.
As for the playoffs, the Leafs might be a wild-card team this season, which would make them an early exit if they were to play the Florida Panthers.
Either way, these are some very ambitious hot takes, and it will be interesting to see if they come to life.
While a lot of fans will be excited if they do, they should probably temper their expectations as to not get disappointed when they inevitably fall short.
