With the Toronto Maple Leafs completing numerous transactions this offseason, there are now all sorts of lineup projections hitting the internet.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are going to be a fascinating team next season for a plethora of reasons. Of course, they lost Mitch Marner, and now, they need to move on.
This past week, the team traded for Vancouver Canucks forward Dakota Joshua, and now, they have stacked up their bottom-six, which will be good news for head coach Craig Berube.
Unfortunately, the roster is stacked up right now, and there are a few players on the outside looking in. Some of those players are beloved by the fanbase, which then creates a bit of a conundrum for the franchise.

Toronto Maple Leafs projected lineup

According to Scott Wheeler, the projected forward lineup for the Maple Leafs is pretty well set in stone.
As you will note, the biggest omissions here are Nick Robertson and would-be rookie sensation Easton Cowan.
Knies - Matthews - Domi
Macelli - Tavares - Nylander
Joshua - Roy - McMann
Lorentz - Laughton - Pezzetta

I don't think Pezzetta should be in their 12 but presumably they think so. Doubly doesn't bode well for Nick Robertson, Easton Cowan, David Kampf, and Calle Jarnkork. Have to think two are moved/waived. They could still sign one more forward conceivably, too.
This is going to be disappointing for some of the fans out there. Quite frankly, no one wants to see the Leafs miss out on what could be a sensational rookie season from Cowan.
As for Nick Robertson, it is looking likelier than ever that the Maple Leafs are going to trade him, once and for all.
Craig Berube and Brad Treliving will have some big decisions to make going forward, and we look forward to seeing how the roster shapes out over the coming months.
If the Leafs can make some more moves, than the fanbase will be forever grateful, especially if a top-six forward is acquired.
