Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander is one of the best players in the league and if the Leafs want to win a Stanley Cup, Nylander will have to be part of that push.
If you have been paying attention to William Nylander this season, you would know that he has been the best goal-scorer on the Maple Leafs by a fairly wide margin.
In the first 22 games of the season, Nylander has managed to score a total of 14 goals and he has added 10 assists as well.
Overall, he has been sensational, and with Auston Matthews missing time with an injury, Nylander has been able to carry the offensive load.
Nylander recently gave an interview to Sharp Magazine, and it was here where he spoke about the Maple Leafs and his NHL legacy.

Ultimately, Nylander's goal with the Maple Leafs is a very simple one, and it is a goal that will make Maple Leafs fans feel very good about things.
When it's all said and done, I just want to be the guy that was on the team that won the Cup for us. Forget about everything else. That would be the only thing that would matter. That's why I signed here. I want to win a championship more than anything.
Nylander also reiterated that when it comes to winning a Stanley Cup, Toronto is the only city for him.
It's the only place to do it.
The Maple Leafs have a great team this year, but the biggest hurdle for them has always been the postseason.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs can overcome these hurdles and finally do what fans have been waiting for since 1967.
