Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander is beloved by fans, and in a recent poll, that love was put on a full display in a very unique fashion.
William Nylander was one of the best players in the NHL last season as he had 45 goals and another 39 assists for a total of 84 points.
Overall, Nylander will be looking to build on this for next season, and there is a feeling that he could hit the 50 goal mark, which would be a huge personal achievement.
Having said that, Maple Leafs fans are currently heralding Nylander right now for reasons that completely transcend the game of hockey.

The Leafs Nation has been doing a series of polls as of late. These polls encapsulate superlatives like greatest draft pick, worst draft pick, and best enforcer.
Recently, the fans were asked to vote on who the most good-looking Leaf of all-time is. Not surprisingly in the slightest, Nylander received the crown.
Nylander has been known for his stylish way of dressing, and as for his general looks, fans have always seen him as a bit of a heart throb.
Ultimately, Nylander won't be focused on these kinds of accolades going into the season. Instead, he will be looking to have a big year on the ice.
After carrying the Leafs in the postseason, he will certainly want to have a big year again and prove he can take Mitch Marner's spot.
Whether or not we get to see Willy play with Auston Matthews, is something that still very much remains to be seen.
Only time will tell whether or not this Maple Leafs team is able to have the year that fans have been praying for.
