Amazon Prime Sports Unveils Its Monday Night Hockey Schedule for the Toronto Maple Leafs

Amazon Prime Sports has been looking to turn Monday Night Hockey into a true institution, and giving the Toronto Maple Leafs plenty of games certainly helps.
If you are a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, or just hockey in general, then you will be happy to know that the offseason won't be around for much longer.
In fact, the NHL season is set to return in October, and once again, Amazon Prime Sports will be back with their competitor to the NFL's Monday Night Football...Monday Night Hockey.
The idea was a huge success, and with Monday Night Hockey coming back for another season, Amazon is hoping to bring forth some solid matchups.
Toronto Maple Leafs get six games on Monday Night Hockey
According to the Amazon Prime Sports schedule, which was released on Wednesday, the Maple Leafs will get six Monday Night Hockey games.
The first of which is actually going to be the Leafs' season opener against the Detroit Red Wings. Meanwhile, the team's season finale against the Dallas Stars will be the final Monday Night Hockey matchup.

This is solid for the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are one of the marquee teams in the National Hockey League. It makes sense that Amazon would give them a ton of games.
As for the matchups themselves, they are a bit disappointing. The Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, and Las Vegas Golden Knights would have been truly compelling.
Instead, the best matchup here is the Tampa Bay Lightning, and that doesn't inspire too much confidence.
Whatever the case, if you have Amazon Prime, you will be treated to some Maple Leafs hockey throughout the season.
