Anthony Stolar Shows Off Gorgeous St. Patrick's Day-Inspired Goalie Gear

Anthony Stolarz has been the better goalie on the Toronto Maple Leafs this season and fans are hoping that he will be the starter when the playoffs come around.

Although he has been having some issues as of late, there is no doubt that he has some time left to turn things around in time for a spirited postseason run.

He has a goals-against average of 2.34 and a save percentage of .921 which sets him up nicely as one of the better goaltenders in the NHL this year.

St. Patrick's Day is coming up in a few days from now on March 17th and it just so happens that when the Leafs were first founded, they were called the Toronto St. Pats.

Interestingly enough, the Leafs are playing on St. Patrick's Day against the Calgary Flames and to celebrate, they will be wearing some throwback St. Pats jerseys.

Anthony Stolarz is getting himself hyped up for the game as he debuted some gorgeous green and white pads at practice on Wednesday. If you are a fan of the history of the Maple Leafs, then you are going to love these.

Not to mention, these white and green jerseys look incredibly sharp and will definitely contrast well with the red and yellow uniforms of the Flames.

Only time will tell whether or not the Maple Leafs are able to win that game. The Leafs have an interesting slate of games coming up as they play the Florida Panthers, the Ottawa Senators, and then the Flames.
