Anthony Stolarz had himself a solid first round against the Ottawa Senators as he had a goals-against average of 2.21 and a save percentage of .901.
Moreover, the blocked shot led to an empty net goal from
William Nylander, who had been jonesing all game long.
Anthony Stolarz on Scott Laughton
After practice todayy, Anthony Stolarz spoke about Scott Laughton and his contributions to the team.
As Stolarz noted, it was a great play, however, he hopes every single player on the team takes note as the Florida Panthers are going to demand it.
«We're going to need everyone to do that this series. It's going to have to be from line one to line four, D-pairing one to D-pairing three. That's what it's going to take, and it's moments like that that potentially swing a series."
Scott Laughton struggled earlier in the season but has since become a bit of a stud for this team. However, as Stolarz noted, everyone needs to lead by example.
The Florida Panthers are a very difficult team to play against and the Leafs are going to have to put their best foot forward or risk being eliminated quickly.
Game 1 is set to go down tomorrow and the fans in Toronto are very excited about the opportunity that is in front of this team.
A win on Monday night could very well set this team up for an upset that would be historic for this franchise.
