Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand loves playing against the Toronto Maple Leafs and we saw that during the Panthers' 6-1 win on the road Wednesday night.
Brad Marchand has always been a villain when it comes to the Toronto Maple Leafs and there is no doubt that he completely embraces that role.
He is constantly trolling Leafs fans and he is also making the actual players on the Leafs look like fools when the playoffs come around.
During his time on the Boston Bruins, he never lost a series against the Maple Leafs. Now that he is on the Florida Panthers, he is trying to keep that streak alive.
Brad Marchand taunts Toronto Maple Leafs fan
In Game 5 on Wednesday night, Marchand and the Florida Panthers absolutely destroyed the Leafs by a score of 6-1.
It was completely embarrassing and if you are a Leafs fan, you are probably feeling like this season is over, even if the Leafs have a chance to tie in Game 6 on Friday.
At the end of the game, one Leaf fan had some words for Marchand, however, as you can see below, the Panthers forward got in his face, smirked, and walked off.
Marchand is terrorizing the Leafs and in Game 6, he will have an opportunity to end them, once and for all.
It is going to be a big game for many Leafs players, especially the ones who are in contract years such as Mitch Marner and John Tavares.
A loss would be catastrophic and the fans would be devastated. Only time will tell whether or not they can come back and force Game 7.
If one thing is for certain, it is that the fans are ready to protest if the Maple Leafs somehow blow this and lose.
