Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner has not been good enough against the Florida Panthers and his effort in Game 5 was truly something pitiful to behold.
Mitch Marner has been one of the worst playoff droppers on the Toronto Maple Leafs and he always seems to play his worst when the pressure is on.
Last night in Game 5 against the Florida Panthers, the superstar forward was a disaster all night and was even the reason behind the third goal from the Panthers.
It was a 6-1 loss and there is a very real chance that this was Marner's very last game as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

After the game, Marner was interviewed by the media, and once again, he found himself putting his foot in his mouth.
His comments afterward showed a complete and utter lack of accountability as his solution to all of this was just forget about it.
"Flush it down the toilet."
Once these comments hit the internet, fans jumped down Marner's throat, noting just how much they hated what he had to say.
In fact, a lot of these fans are now saying that Marner needs to go and that Brad Treliving should refuse to re-sign him once the summer comes around.
At this stage, one has to wonder if there are any teams out there who would sign him for anything close to what Mikko Rantanen makes.
Given his playoff track record, it would seem like Marner may have just played himself out of a big contract.
Of course, if the team somehow comes back to win this series, everyone will calm down and perhaps cooler heads will prevail.
