Brady Tkachuk Makes Surprising Comments About the Toronto Maple Leafs

Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk was recently asked about the Toronto Maple Leafs, and it led to an answer that may just surprise some of you.
Brady Tkachuk is a player with tremendous talent, and there is no doubt that he is a thorn in the side of all the teams he goes up against.
Having said that, the Toronto Maple Leafs were able to get the best of him in the playoffs last season. To be fair, it was Tkachuk's first time in the postseason.
Going into this season, the Leafs and Senators rivalry is going to be fascinating, especially since the former will be without Mitch Marner.
Brady Tkachuk is complimentary of the Toronto Maple Leafs
With that being said, Tkachuk is still reflecting on his playoff loss, something that was made evident while appearing on 'Leafs Morning Take.'
In his appearance, Tkachuk was extremely complimentary of the Maple Leafs, noting that they are a deep team that has a ton of skill.
They have such a great team. We knew going into it that's probably the deepest team that they've had in the last couple years. We knew it was going to be a dog fight from the opening puck drop.
The Leafs beat the Ottawa Senators in six games, but it could have very easily been a sweep. That said, all of the games were fairly close.
It was a good series, and based on how the NHL's playoff system works these days, it is clear that we will get more matchups like this.
Hopefully, they happen soon, and we hope they don't disappoint. As long as the Toronto Maple Leafs win, of course.
Meanwhile, Brady Tkachuk will be motivated this season, as he looks to have the best campaign of his entire career.
