Craig Berube absolutely lambastes the Maple Leafs during intense tirade caught on camera

Unfortunately, the season has not had a ton of consistency. The ups and downs have been frequent and 17 games in, there is no telling whether or not this team can actually be a contender.

Last night, the Maple Leafs took on the Ottawa Senators and it did not end well. The Leafs lost 3-0 and they never looked like the better team throughout the course of the game.

This was a tough one to watch for Craig Berube, who was giving his team a piece of his mind on the bench. Below, you can see how that conversation went down.

There were lots of profanities and Berube looked to be livid with his team's performance.

After the game, Berube spoke to the media about the match and what went down. As he noted, this was a lot different than other games the team has lost.

Coming into the game against the Senators, the Leafs were on a three-game winning streak. The loss means they have to start over.

Tonight, they will have a chance to do so against the Washington Capitals.

That will not be an easy game as the Capitals have been absolutely sensational so far this season. It almost feels like the Leafs are in for a tough lesson.

But that doesn't have to be true. If the team can bounce back and use some of that leftover energy, perhaps the Capitals will have a difficult time.

Either way, the Leafs are going to learn a lot about themselves tonight.
