Toronto Maple Leafs forward Matthew Knies got injured during a horrendous game against the Columbus Blue Jackets and updates are few and far between right now.
Matthew Knies has been a stud for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, and he is undoubtedly necessary for the team's success.
Unfortunately, the forward was injured during Wednesday night's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, and he could not return to the game.

Overall, it was just a bad night for the Maple Leafs as they lost by a score of 5-1. In fact, the team was dominant during the game. Their issue was goaltending.
According to Luke Fox of Sportsnet, fans did not get what they were hoping for. Instead, head coach Craig Berube had no updates on Knies.
Hopefully, the Maple Leafs are able to provide an update on Matthew Knies either today or tomorrow.
For the first time in weeks, the Leafs actually have a couple of days off with their next game going down on Saturday against the Ottawa Senators.
This will be the perfect match for the team to regroup and show out especially since it is the battle of Ontario.
It should also be noted how the Maple Leafs lost to the Sens by a score of 3-0 the last time these two faced off against one another.
Despite last night's loss, the team remains first in the Atlantic Division although there is no doubt that they need to get back in the win column to retain their lead.
